March Mammals!!

With all of the favorites advancing and taking the brackets as predicted, we are now down to both the nitty and the gritty. With but four animals remaining who will pull it all out? The Orca? The Tiger? The Polar Bear? The Rhino? All four have come so far... who will take it all???

Reptiles vs. Mammals Champion vs. Wild Canids vs. Misc. Champion

Polar Bear

Length: 7-11' long.
Weight: 500-1,500 lbs.
Claw Length: A polar bear's claws are thick and curved. Each can measure more than two inches (5.1 centimeters) long.
Fun Fact: Polar bears may enter into what is referred to as "walking hibernation" where they remain active and continue to hunt and feed, even though some of their metabolic processes may slow (decreased heart rates, respiration, lowered temperatures, etc.). Polar bears depend mostly on their sense of smell to determine the location of prey.
Road to the Elite Eight: Grizzly Bear, Wolverine, Gorilla, Crocodile.

Polar Bear-Emerging as the most dominant mammal the Polar Bear proved that you can be cold without being cold blooded! I have no idea what that means! Tearing through his cousin the Grizzly, and the well respected Crocodile, the Polar Bear can sniff the finals once again.

vs.

Rhino

Length: 9-10' long
Weight: 1,500-3,000lbs.
Horn Size: 4' long.
Fun Fact: When charging, it puffs and snorts like a steam engine, running with its tail erect at speeds of up to 30 miles per hour.
Road to Elite Eight: Elephant, Bull, Killer Bees, Wolf.

Rhino- Sans classification, the Rhino has torn through the brackets like the living tank that he is. From the large Elephant to the small Killer Bees, nothing has slowed the Rhino down. This bad boy is John of the Julio site's favorite to take it all .

THE MATCHUP--
The high point of the tournament so far for the Polar Bear was his emotional win over the Wolverine after last year's stunning upset in the finals. Will that all be for naught? This round he runs into a Rhino shaped wall... The Rhino's tough hide and furious horn have laid waste many tough animals already. However, can he as easily dispatch a ready competitor like the Polar Bear? The Rhino has yet to face such a combination of size, strength, speed, and viciousness. The Rhino seems to have a physical advantage, but the Polar Bear has been there... he knows pressure. The Bear or the Rhino? Who heads to this year's finals??

Check out the other matchup! Orca vs. Tiger!! Care to weigh in? Send in your vote and let your voice be heard!
