The climatic conclusion to the award winning series Neon Genuis: Evangelion comes the final chapter Evangelion: The End Of Evangelion. In the year 2014, after the 17 Angels have been destroy, Shinji Ikari, Rei Ayanami, Asuka Langley Soryu, Misato Katsuragi, and Gendo Ikari have started to rebel against JSSDF. Seele ahs sent Eva units 4-13 in order to take control of Nerv's Japanese headquarters and Eva Unit 01.
At the beinging of End Of Evangelion Misato is hacking itno the Magi files to find out what happened fifteen years ago, known as Second Impact. Just as Misato is Done, Seele and 5 Copies of the Magi,(US's Massachusetts Base, Gremany's Berlin Base, China's Base). Ritsuko starts to run a 666 Firewall. An Army sent by Seele starts to attack and invade the base. Asuka has been in a coma for the past couple of days and is sent in Eva Unit 02 to the bottom of the Geodome's lake for some protection. Shinji has gotten lost in the base an Misato must find him before Seele forces do or else they will kill him. Seele just wants the Eva Unit 01 because it is the "offspring" of Adam (the first angel) and Lilith (the second angel). Seele was trying to make Third Impact occur faster to complete the Human Instumentality Project with the Adam, Eva Units 4-13 and Gendo.
Misato find Shinji and starts to bring him to Unit 01. Misato explains that the angels were the possiblities that man kind could of became. The Angels were the 17 chooses and the Evangelions being made of Adam. Man was most alike to the 17 angel. before Shinji makes it to Unit 01 Misato is shoot. She explains about the way he feels and that she really cared about him and gives him her cross for protection. When Shinji get in the elevator, Misato is on the floor dieing. Rei appers and the floor is destroyed. Outside Asuka is taking out Eva Units 4-13. She defeats the Evas but her Eva is hit with the replica Lance of Longinus causing her to take a lot of damage. She is unable to defend herself and the Eva Units 4-13 reactivate and start to consume Eva Unit 02. Unit 01 and Shinji enter the battle but instead of destroying the Evas and the Entity, Shinji and Unit 01 help start the third impact.
As the Battle for Nerv Headquater contunies Rei and Gendo Ikari enter Centre Dogma, the location of Lilth the second angel. Ritsuko is waiting for Gendo. She saids that when Seele was hacking into the Magi, she set a self destruct program to destroy the base. She atempts to destroy the base but Casper has deactivated the program. After Gendo takes out his gun and shoots Ritsuko. Gendo has the a embryo of Adam infused in his right hand and tries to be brought to Lilith and fuse with Lilth, but fails. Rei saids that she will not be a puppet for Gendo and takes Gendo's right hand. Afterwards Rei tries to fuse Lilth with Adam and is succesful. The idea is if any angel touches Adam Third Impact will take place. Lilth is completely healed and is able to morph into this huge entity.
The Lance of Longinus comes back into orbit and enters the centeral core of Eva Unit 01. Shinji start to loss some sanity and starts to have memories of Mother figures and another of Rei, Asuka, and Misato. He says that they were all there to mock him. The first of his mind trips he takes is that he is at a park and he is with 2 scary looking people (represtenting the imperfect world). They are building a sand castle. It is a perfect pyramid (it is the Nerv Headquaters). They leave with their mother and Shinji is upset and breaks down because he has no mother. He starts to destroy the sand castle but then rebuilds it. The Next of his mind trips is to a time when Misato was in college and she is spending the day with Kaji. Shinji what to know if this os what Misato is really like. We hear a voice that is Misatos saying that she could not be a mother to Shinji.
The next mind trip Shinji takes is when they are on the a train car. Shinji saids that they were all their to mock him and they just were hiding their true feelings so he couldn't be hurt. He then remembers the event after Asuka fought the 15th angel and failed. He wanted to help her but she tought that he was trying to take advantage of her state of being and pushed him away explaining that he could not help anybody unless he learned to love himself first and stop running away from his fears.
Meanwhile on Earth, the people in the Nerv Headquarters learn that every living thing has an AT Field that gives them their form. Rei makes the illusion that she is there then makes everyone see who they want ot see. For example Hyuga in the command center sees Misato. When this "Misato" touches him he becomes an orange slime releasing his soul. The Giant entity takes all the souls and centers them around the Lilith's Egg (Geofront) and then consumes them. The last soul to enter the Entity was shinji and Eva Unit 01. Rei gives him the world he wanted put he hated it. Then Rei gives Shinji a world with pain but no people and Shinji still hates it. Rei says that he hates it because people don't feel pain like he does. Shinji reliezes that he was just running from the truth and wanted to be around people. Shinji has ideas and memories. The Eva Units 4-13 make themselves sacrifes and Unit 01 comes out of the eye of giant entity. The Entity starts to become falls apart. Unit 01 and The Lance Of Longinus are floating in space waiting to be found by soon other civilization are to come back down to earth. Shinji has an image of his mother. She said that all living things has the ablitiy to be reborn but he had to wait. Shinji comes out of the Sea Of LCL and goes to face the callenges that lay ahead. He climbs on the beach and falls a sleep.
The movie ends with Shinji and Asuka laying in a beach. Shinji gets up and attepmts to kill Asuka by strangling her. He stops when she puts her hand through his hair. He starts to cry and Asuka says "How disgusting" in a whispher.
