My Memorial Page to those that have crossed the Bridge

Sierra was by far one of the best dog that I have ever had. Not to say that I love any others less or not enough, she was just special. Everyone that met her fell in love with her and recognized that special quality. She was my soulmate and my best friend and I am going to miss having her here to console me when I am down and be happy for me when things are good. Sierra had 2 displaced vertebra in her back and then blew both her knees out. She was always active playing with the other dogs, chasing birds, guarding the perimeter of my fenced in backyard. I got her from a shelter as a puppy and was blessed to have 4 years with Sie! On September 15, 2002 when Sierra gave me the look that told me she was ready to cross the Bridge because of her pain that no medications would help, I called my vet and he met me at his office. A very good friend of mine went with me and the 3 of us stayed with Sierra as she crossed the Bridge. I miss her dearly but I know she is pain free now and that is the most important thing.
