a Script.
This
day long seminar will take one script in its final draft
and look at the options for development.

reading with professional actors

Editors Panel: Covering structure, character
development, and building subtext as it pertains to
the script that has just been read.

Session 3
|
Directors
Panel: Take one cocky young emerging director,
add one traditional mainstream director and mix with
one American then start discussing vision, casting,
location and more.

Session 4
|
Producers
and Distributors Panel: A big budget producer,
a small budget producer, and a distributor cover funding,
marketing and distribution.

Sunday,
February 4: Shorts Full of Dollars
The most explosive
new market for independent filmmakers is the Internet.
Find out what is going on out there.

THE
ROAD TAKEN/NOT TAKEN: This
series of sessions looks at a script that has already
been made into a film.

Session 1

Script reading
with professional actors -- this does not include actors
from the finished film.

Session 2
|
Not having seen
the finished production two script editors and two directors
discuss ways that the script and film could have developed.

Session 3
|
Screening of
the film later that evening. Followed by the director,
writer, and actor discussing choices they made, the
development and experiences of making the film
