The Entlebucher Mountain Dog has markings very similar to the Rottweiler. It is a tri-colored dog, black, brown and white with black being the dominant color. The dog has a white muzzle with a stripe running between the eyes to the top of the head. The paws and chest are also white. The lower-legs have brown 'sleeves' and the dog also has brown 'eyebrows'.
The Entlebucher is a medium-sized dog not standing more than 20 inches at the shoulder. It should weigh anywhere between 55-70 pounds (25-30 kilograms). The dog has powerful but gentle jaws, small chestnut eyes and V shaped ears. The fur is stiff, thick, glossy and close-fitting and requires little grooming (almost none!) as the dog tends to be very tidy about things.
Unfortunately, due to the declined numbers of these animals, the prices are very high. An Entlebucher can easily cost somewhere in the ballpark of $1500-3000 US.
