I have added my service open for visa/immigration to USA as most recently I retired from US Embassy, job and is now residing as a legal permanent resident in USA.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) issued series of new separate application kits  for independent, family and business immigration categories.  Most recent major change requires details of education, employment and all residence since age 18 year.

Each new kits include (1) Information Guide explaining application requirements and procedures applicable for all offices,                      (2) the new application forms (June 2000 with instructions to complete, and

                                     (3) some additional country/office-specific requirement information for its individual offices worldwide, will issue more in phases. Country specific information includes documents applicants need to include with application, the medical examination, obtaining police certificates/clearances, processing fees and mailing instructions. Requirements may vary depending on where the applicant is residing or where the applicant intend to apply.

This application kit consists of three separate components: (1) an Information Guide explaining the application requirements and procedures;(2) the application forms; and (3) appendices containing country-specific information.

PART 1 -- The Information Guide [To be used by all applicants]

The Information Guide Explains the application requirements and procedures and includes a set of instructions to help to complete the forms. General Occupations List[21 May 1997], Appendix G List of Quebec Immigration Offices.

PART 2 -- The Forms [To be used by all applicants]

On-line kits are currently available only for the offices listed below with most current revision date. Any information prior to each specified date may be outdated and may lack required information. If you do not see a listing for your country, please contact the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission, Consulate or Visa Office for assistance.

To avoid application rejection, new applicants MUST recheck before filling. Most occupations need no job offer, no sponsor, no close relative, no quota or country limit. Canadian government is considering a recent report/recommendation to restructure present immigration
