The George Henry Heady Family
George Henry Heady was born in 1829 in Switzerland County, Indiana to Thomas S. Heady and Sarah Barnett Johnson. In 1837, his father died in a horse accident. In 1841, his mother married Conrad Lepper in Switzerland County, Indiana. When his mother and stepfather left for Davis County, Iowa, George Henry Heady remained in Switzerland County, Indiana.
On August 23, 1849 in Switzerland County, Indiana, George Henry Heady married Henrietta Pierce.
In 1874, George Henry Heady died. His wife moved to Davis County, Iowa, and she died in 1893.
CHILDREN OF GEORGE HENRY AND HENRIETTA PIERCE HEADY:
- Mary Ellen Heady, born 1858 and died Nov. 19, 1938.
- She married Tiberius G. Gibbs.
- F. Dean Heady
- He married Mollie Alice Wilfong on March 22, 1892.
