The Heady Family

The Thomas S. Heady Family

Thomas S. Heady was born about 1802 in Kentucky. His parents were Stillwell Heady and Rebecca Coombs.

On November 15, 1827 in Switzerland County, Indiana, Thomas S. Heady married Sarah Barnett Johnson, the daughter of Gabriel Johnson and Rebecca Sebree.

In 1837 in Switzerland County, Indiana, Thomas S. Heady died in a horse accident.

On August 1, 1841 in Switzerland County, Indiana, Sarah B. Johnson Heady married Conrad Lepper. They moved to Davis County, Iowa.

In 1872, Sarah B. Johnson Heady Lepper died in Davis County, Iowa. She is buried in the Dunnville Cemetery there.

George Henry Heady, born in 1829 and died in 1874.
- He married Henrietta Pierce on Aug. 23, 1849.
Richard Franklin Heady, born Dec. 25, 1831 and died May 21, 1905. - MY LINE
- He married Emeline Adelia Place on Sept. 25, 1856.
John Stilwell Heady, born in 1833 and died in 1886.
- He married Emaline Montgomery.
Gabriel Johnson Heady, born Feb. 11, 1835 and died May 19, 1917.
- He married Leah Elizabeth Conner on Oct. 3, 1857.
Benjamin Thomas Heady, born Nov. 7, 1837 and died Dec. 4, 1911.
- He married Lucy Francis Blodgett on Nov. 9, 1863.

CHILDREN OF CONRAD AND SARAH B. JOHNSON HEADY LEPPER:

Joseph M. Lepper, born Aug. 14, 1842 and died July 23, 1914.
- He married (1) Sarah A. Patterson on Dec. 13, 1867.
- He married (2) Martha E. Allen Heutz on Feb. 2, 1882.
Royal A. Lepper, born about 1845.
James Lepper, born about 1849.
