• Semisonic will release their third album, All About Chemistry, on March 13 2001 (in the U.S.). This album features a collaboration of Carole King. The first single, Chemistry, should be out in early January. You can listen to it on the official website. (12/15/00)

• The U.K. single "Singing In My Sleep" will be released on February 28 and will be available in two CD formats. The first CD will feature a booklet of excerpts from Semisonic's U.K. tour diary, the album version and a mixed version (mixed by Orb) of "Singing In My Sleep", and a live recording of "Secret Smile". The second CD will contain two new tracks, "I'm A Liar" and "Makin' A Plan". (01/28/00)

• Semisonic will join MuchMusic's SnowJob, an annual snow and rock fest, that will take place at Marmot Basin in Jasper, Alberta, Canada, from March 22 to March 28. (02/20/99)

• The next single will either be DND or Never You Mind. Chances are it will be DND since it's Dan's favorite and it's already playing on some radio stations.

• The video Secret Smile will feature Dan's wife. The concept should be something like this: Dan is taping his wife in a room and they're fooling around. Then suddenly somebody comes in and starts taping them. So they run away while someone is taping all that. (Thanks to Marwan for this info.)

• The semiboys went to L.A. on the January 16th weekend to shoot their new video for the song Secret Smile. So look out for the new video. It should come out soon!

• Don't forget to watch the Grammy Awards on February 24th 1999. Dan is nominated for writing the Best Rock Song. Closing Time is going against Bitter Sweet Symphony (The Verve), Celebrity Skin (Hole), Have A Little Faith In Me (John Hiatt) and Uninvited (Alanis Morissette). Unfortunately, he only gets 2 tickets to the ceremony. (What about John and Jake!?!) He will attend with his wife. GOOD LUCK TO DAN!!!
