Weekly Review

Despite Beşiktaş - Samsunspor opener, Turkish 1.League had another week with lots of goals.
Trabzonspor scored 7 goals while ticketing Adanaspor to the 2.league.
In the game of two recent Fenerbahçe winners, Denizli put a stop to Ankaragücü.
Gaziantepspor went 3 goals ahead in the game of the week, but lost the game after a splendid revival by Fenerbahçe. An interesting stat from this game. Gaziantepspor's Hakan Baayraktar left the game while it was 3-0. With his substitute Andrei Krivov they saw 4 goals in their goal. Hakan won 3-0 and Krivov lost 4-0.
On Sunday, Siirt Jet-PA became the second relegated team even though they won for the first time at home.
Yozgat beat Bursa, Antalya beat Erzurum by single goals.
There were also a lot of goals in the closer of the week. Galatasaray managed to beat Rizespor in Rize and went head to head with Fenerbahçe.
After the results, first Beşiktaş, then Gaziantepspor got damaged and Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray went ahead full speed.
Adanaspor and Siirt Jet-PA are officially relegated and it looks like Erzurumspor will join them next weekr.

TFF Penalties:

1 - Beşiktaş - Fenerbahçe game was awarded to Beşiktaş by default as 3-0. Fenerbahçe fielded six non-Turkish players in that game. The teams are allowed to field only five players at any time during a game. A sixth non-Turkish player can be included in the 18-man squad for the game, but can not be substituted before taking one of the non-Turkish player is taken out from the game. Guess what, the actual score was also 3-0 for Beşiktaş.
2 - Samsunspor 0-1 Kocaelispor game score was changed to 3-0. Kocealispor fielded an ineligible player. Orhan Ak had two games penalty at the time.
3 - Yimpaş Yozgatspor 2-1 Siirt Jetpa SK game score was changed to 3-0. Siirt fielded a player with a yellow card penalty.
Note: At TFF site, this game was mentioned as a 3-0 win for Yozgat at two spots. However, the standings section still has the game as 2-1.
The penalties section states:
1 - "Yönetim Kurulu Cezaları" sub-section.
In a meeting on Dec 22,2000, the game was decided as 3-0 for Yozgat. The ruling was done according to the regulations: "200-201/41 Esas" and "201-25/213 Karar".
2 - In "Ceza Sorgulama" sub-section.
The reason for score change given as "Sarı kart cezalısı futbolcu oynatmak" (fielding a player with a yellow card penalty).
