These pictures were taken at a private party for LIFEbeat, at Lilith Fair 1997, Joans beach, NY. Hosted by Delsner/Slater Enterprises, and the women of Lilith Fair '97, this was a great day. A check was presented to LIFEbeat by Sarah McLachlan, and donations were made to enter the tent. Donors gave upwards of $100 each to visit with McLachlan. I have had the special privelege of meeting McLachlan several times over the past few years and each time she has been so wonderful. I've never met anyone like her, no matter what, she always manages to stay grounded when a lot of other musicians/celebrities become jaded.
Another one of my favorite musicians is Joan Osborne. I can tell you how many times I've gone to events where she was at. She's so humble. I love her! I have a lot of stories I could tell you about our meetings...like how the cops had to be called after her Roseland show because of a crazed gun toating man and how she had to be kept upstairs for fear of trouble.... or her frequent hair color changes... *smile*
This one was taken after her run in "Once Upon a Mattress," where she played Winnifred, the Princess of Farfelot.
These pictures were taken at a production of Gypsy at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Milburn, NJ.
This picture was taken outside of Fox studio's "Fox after breakfast." What a great day! |
This picture was taken at WKTU's first anniversary party "The Heartbeat of New York," at the Roxy, Feburary 14th, 1997. Performers included KC & the Sunshine Band, RuPaul, No Mercy, and many others.
