I'm a newlywed and so happy about it. My husband is a gorgeous Australian and together we have created the most wonderful family for our son. We are a loving blended family. Being a big family person, I'm always on the look out for fun things to do with my son. I visit PBS online all the time and I especially like the Arthur website. It has fun things for the kids to do and it even has tips for parents on reading instruction. And for families who are having trouble getting their young ones to read, Between the Lions is fabulous. I also like The Children's Television Workshop aka Sesame Street website They have great things for kids to do. I've learned all kinds of arts and craft projects to do with my son, so rainy days are boring days anymore. But I guess as a Children's Service provider I must plug my own programs, check out the Brooklyn Public Library's website for all the children's programs. Especially check out if your local branch is having the Reading Partner Program. This program will help your child learn to read in a non-competitive open learning environment. Now all women know how tough it is to introduce and keep romance into your relationships. In my travels through the net I have found some very helpful sites. Lovingyou.com has provided me with a wealth of poetry, romantic ideas, and gifts. I subscribed to the daily love poem and I send it daily to my husband. He loves the idea that I'm at work thinking about him. My next favorite site is brought to you by none other than Harlequin. It's Romance.net and you can get your love horoscope, get sexy romance novels and you even learn how to be sexier. It's a fabulous resource for women who have been relationships a long time. |
