I love to read

I love to read and lately I have been reading a lot of Harlequin romance novels. I especially like the Australian Series (you can guess why) and the SuperRomance Series.  Click on the Harlequin link above and find out about what new books are coming out and they also have romantic ideas and links. They even have a astrological compatibility rating for you and your lover.

I also really love mysteries. My favorite mystery authors are Sue Grafton, Sara Paretsky and Linda LyPlante. Isn't it funny how female mystery writers can get an element of terror that men just can't touch. That says a lot.

I'm currently trying to get through the one hundred best fiction novels of the millennium. It's been rough going. But I've really enjoyed a lot of the books. I finished reading both books by Nicholas Sparks (the Notebook & Message in a Bottle). They were fantastic. They made me cry. But then I'm a romantic at heart. I've also read Harry Potter's first book, and Bridget Jones The Edge of Reason by Helen Fielding, Memiors of Giesha by Alfred A. Knopf (which was fabulous), and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.

I won't bore you will the total list of all I've read but there have been some good and some bad. If you want to check out the list Click IVillage.com  for the list.

I found the greatest bookshop called Murder Ink. Located at 1465 Second Avenue between 76th and 77th Streets. New York 10021 tel: (212) 517-3222. Billed as "the oldest mystery bookstore in the world," Murder Ink has a predictably impressive array of mystery tomes and provides mail order service.  And since mysteries are still my first passion, I love to go there.  There is also Partners & Crime.  The store is located at 44 Greenwich Avenue , New York (212) 243-0440 You can find any of the greatest mysteries.
