We've joined together as classmates
as the new year begins...

while we become friends.
We'll share and be kind

Two More Days Till School.(Poem)
Author/s: Leslie Kimmelman
Issue: Sept, 1999

I'm finally going to school this year,
and now the big day's almost here.
I'll learn to write and count and read--
Only two more days till school.

I got new pants and shirts and socks,
a brand-new red-and-blue lunch box;
I'll paint and sing and dance and play--
Only one more day fill school.

My hair is washed, my sneakers squeak,
I'm so excited, I can hardly speak!
New things to do, new friends to meet--
Hooray! It's the first day of school!

First Day

Shiny, sharpened pencils,
Desks all in a row.
It's the first day of school and
I don't want to go.

A very different teacher,
With a strange sounding name.
I want my last year's teacher -
Things will never be the same!

I remember all the things we learned, And all the
things we made. The truth is, if you want to know,
I'm really afraid.

A Time and a Place
Learn the importance of setting a specific time to
study, and how you can work it into your schedule.

Never ever give up.
See always the special person you are
and the power that lies in yourself.
Never doubt that which you know
to be true...yourself.

Children Learn
What They Live

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.

If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with shame, he learns to feel guilty.

If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.

If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate.
If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.

If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.

If a child lives with acceptance and friendship,
He learns to find love in the world.

School Days Graphics..Where I found some of my Graphics

September

The breezes taste Of apple peel.
The air is full Of smells to feel-

Ripe fruit, old footballs, Burning brush
New books, erasers, Chalk, and such.

The bee, his hive Well-honeyed hum
And Mother cuts Chrysanthemums.

Like plates washed clean With suds, the days
Are polished with A morning haze.
