Apr 8 '24 - Jim drove for four hours to capture this picture in Geneva, Indiana and sent it to friends in Dayton where we had lived for 44 years. "Oh, we just walked out into our yard and captured the same thing."

Jul '19 - Jim feeding chipmunks on Mount Princeton, Colorado. Chipmunks have been fed here for years and are very respectful of the feeders.
Sep '17 - Four generations - Grandma Earnhart, Joan Earnhart Roberts, Mary Schmidt, Noah Schmidt. Noah turned one this year and Grandma Earnhart will be 99.
Aug '17 - Spent our 40th anniverary vacationing in Amish Holmes County Ohio including a visit to the giant cuckoo clock in Sugarcreek - every 30 minutes a quartet band comes out and plays while the couple "dances" - original built in 1963, reconditioned in 2007.
Sep 17 '16 - Second grandchild - Noah Gabriel Schmidt.

Jun '16 - Vacationed Northern Michigan including return trip to Mackinac Island where we honeymooned 39 years ago made another tandem bike around the island.
May '16 - Joan and her sister with 97 year old Mom.
Apr '15 - Visited Katie and Josh in Europe. They led us on a two-week tour of Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Lichtenstein, France, and BFA including largest Germany castle, Oberammergau, Zurich, Salzberg, longest wood bridge, and Paris.

Aug '13 - Celebrated 36th anniversary at C'est Tout french dinner.
Oct '12 - In Lebanon, OH, for a Romney-Ryan Rally. Jim was able shake Romney's arm just after this picture was taken.
Sep '12 - In Grand Cayman Island to celebrate our 35th anniversary. One of the highlights was feeding the stingrays.
Aug '12 - Family in California for trip down US 1 and 17 Mile Road near Pebble Beach.
Jul '11 - Celebrated Katie's 30 birthday at the Melting Pot fonde dinner.
March '11 - "O' the ramparts we watched" - Jim interpreting the national anthem at tryouts for the local baseball team. 5x7 picture made page A3 of the local paper.
June '10 - Everyone home from Black Forest Academy in Germany and Fresno, CA.
June '09 - Everyone together before Katie returned to Black Forest Academy in Germany and Phil and Mary moved to Fresno, CA for seminary.
Nov '06 - Katie & Mary surprised Joan with a birthday party for her ?0th.
Thanksgiving '06 - Phil, Brian, and Sharon joined the family for Thanksgiving at Aullwood.

Thanksgiving '05 - Family gathered together to ask the Lord's blessing.
Nov '05 - Joan presented a pre-conception nutrition cirriculum at the National Weston A. Price Foundation Conference in Chantilly, VA.
Sep '05 - Jim returned to SC for the 200th anniversary of the Aiken First Baptist Church with his brothers and Mom. The current church was built in 1958 on the same spot as the pasonage where we lived 1954-1957. This half block was deeded to the church when the railroad came to town in 1831. One of the Civil War battles occurred on the church property and there are a number of Union and Confederate graves.

Nov '02 - Joan's Dad died in November two weeks after attending Katie's college band presentation. We miss Chuck.
Aug '02 - Mary and Katie planned and surprised Jim & Joan with a 25th wedding anniversary celebration.
