Jul '07 - Mary and Phil were in Jamaica as part of a Goshen College Study Service Term. Mary worked in an interpreting agency for six weeks in Kingston and another six weeks of language studies in Mandeville. |

Apr '07 - Mary graduated summa cum laude from Goshen College with a B.A. - American Sign Language/English Interpretation. Actually Mary has one more college assignment - a three month extended study of sign language in Jamaica. |

Jun '04 - Mary and her youth group walked across Indiana praying for each town along the way (The Cross Walk). One member of the team carried a cross on their back. They walked about 15 miles a day. Her group walked from the west border and met the other from the east just north of Indianapolis. At one point, an accident on I-65 blocked traffic which was rerouted pass the west team for several hours. |

Jun '04 - Mary, one of eight 4.0 Valedictorians, spoke at her high school graduation. Mary is planning to attend Bowling Green State Univ. and study Interpreting for the Deaf. |

Mar '04 - Mary and Katie played for seven performances of "Hello, Dolly!" First time they played in the pit together. Together they played five instruments for this musical. |

Aug '03 - Mary and our church youth group ministered to Cleveland's inner city. They returned the day before the northeast power outage. She is in stripes on the second row. |

Jul '03 - For a third year, Mary won a gold metal in manual music interpretation at the Brethren National Youth Conference at Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA. |

Jun '03 - Mary and Katie prepped to attend Phantom of the Opera at new Schuster Perfomance Center which had been up-architected to handle large productions like Phantom |

Jan '03 - Mary's missions team flew to Jamaica to the Carribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf and provided numerous support activities from building to Bible Study. EJ just came to the school knowing five signs. |

Dec '02 - Mary played the clarinet, oboe, saxaphone and bassoon in her high school Christmas program. She also leads the clarinet section. |
