The Long and Short Of It

Drugs may lead to nowhere, but at least it's the scenic route

I said "no" to drugs, but they didn't listen.

I tried sniffing Coke once, but the ice cubes got stuck in my nose.

Comfortably Numb

~

This page is only one of the two pages I kept from my original site. However, it used to be filled with my younger thoughts and ideas about smoking weed. A few years have passed and my thinking has been changed. don't get me wrong, I still enjoy the bud, but after it impacts your life the way it has mine, one can't help but slow down and take another look around. Here's what I mean. I started smoking when I was 16. Have pretty much been smoking everyday ever since. I tried some other drugs as well for awhile but have always come back to weed. I have spent the last three years looking for a full-time job. Needless to say when you go through a temp agency, you are just used for the time being and tossed away when you are no longer needed. I had been told many many times I was to be hired in somewhere and like always at the last minute was just laid off.Because of this I never REALLY worried about ever having to take a drug test.

I had been workng for this company for the last 9 months when I was approached with question of wheather I would want to become a full-time employee. I would very much like to be hired in so I immeditly stopped smoking. Unknown to me, I was to take the test in less than two weeks. Needless to say I failed!
