general membership meeting. A

This Meet and Greet meeting will
feature Marianne Goldweber from A
Way with Herbs with her hand-
blended tea and other unusual
herbs. Our Board will provide a
variety of finger foods and other
beverages.

The meeting will be held at 7:00PM
in the Senior Center in Strongsville.
Everyone is welcome--bring a
friend!

We have a lot of great new ideas for this year and wonderful programs planned. We
would like to start by letting you know of some of the changes being made this year.

We will be meeting at the Strongsville Senior Center every other month beginning in
September on the third Wednesday. Beginning in October, we will meet for a happy hour
at a local establishment. These meetings will take place on the third Thursday. So set
aside October 16th, 7:00PM at TGI Fridays, Royalton Road, Strongsville.

Hello everyone! The board has been meeting over the summer to brainstorm ideas and
plan for the new year of Newfound Friends. I want to thank them all for the
generousity of their time and the overwhelming support they have given me. I hope
you enjoy the activities planned for the meetings and interest groups. I hope the new
ideas will be refreshing to you and that you share the fun with a newcomer!
Remember, the main purpose of this organization is to promote friendship and fun!

We also promote civic welfare. This year we will continue to contribute non-
perishable food, personal hygiene products, and monetary donations to the
Strongsville Food Bank. All you need to do is bring your donations to the general
meeting and I will deliver the supplies. The number is 846-0197 if you have questions.
We are planning several projects throughout the year, with a dessert and activity for the
residents of the Ronald McDonald House downtown. Keep in mind that I am always
open to new ideas, or if you know of a person or family in need of our help.

It's that time again- annual dues are payable by October 1st. They can be paid at the
September meeting, or can be mailed to our treasurer. Your check for $15.00 should
be made payable to "Newfound Friends of Strongsville". Please check the
information in last year's directory and if there have been changes, please update at
