TTC 11 Pearce-Arrow

Another unique bus; number 11 was the only Pearce-Arrow that the Toronto Transportation Commission ever owned. Given that the TTC bought one each of an AEC, Pearce-Arrow, Tilling-Stevens and Veteran in 1922, it can be presumed that they were engaging in competitive testing trials. The bus is shown here on the ROSEDALE route, but given the dearth of passengers and the way it's angled across the street, this was probably a posed shot.
