GO Transit Buses

In the late '60s the Government of Ontario set up a commuter transit authority for the Toronto region. The Toronto Area Transit Operating Authority (operating as GO -- for Government of Ontario -- Transit) took over the financial responsibility for the unprofitable commuter routes, and then contracted with their former operators (in most cases Gray Coach Lines) to actually provide the service under contract.

Photos are grouped by bus manufacturer since (for the most part) GO Transit's fleet numbers group the buses up by make and model.
