MCI Coaches

In the late '60s the Government of Ontario set up a commuter transit authority for the Toronto region. The Toronto Area Transit Operating Authority (operating as GO -- for Government of Ontario -- Transit) took over the financial responsibility for the unprofitable commuter routes, and then contracted with their former operators (in most cases Gray Coach Lines) to actually provide the service under contract.
