Established among Canada's outstanding all-time forwards, he scored a second-half try against New Zealand in the '91 World Cup quarter-final, the winning try in '93 vs Wales, in Cardiff, and two more against Romania and Australia, in the '95 World Cup, playing in four positions in three games. Chosen as a Barbarian on several occasions. Played a major role in leading the forwards to the Pac Rim Championship, and captained Canada in the 1996 Pan-America Tournament. Led the forwards against Wales and Ireland in 1997. Played for Moseley in England until transferred to Bristol in 1998.
