Came into the Canadian team immediately after the 1987 World Cup and was an outstanding member of the 1991 World Cup side, scoring a try in the quarter-final against New Zealand. Earned a Cambridge Blue in 1993 but missed most of last season, and the 1995 World Cup in South Africa, because of a neck injury. Played in two 1996 and two 1997 Pac Rim tests. Played on the WRU Challenge tour to Wales in January 1998.
