Has played for Nova Scotia, Gosforth R.F.C. and Irish Exiles U 21. A graduate of the CCSD program in Victoria he played on Canada Sevens teams in Japan and Dubai 1997 and in Punta del Este and Hong Kong in 1998. A leading member of the Commonwealth Sevens team, which placed fifth, he played in 10 Tournaments in the 1999 - 2000 WSS, scoring 8 tries and 79 converts for 198 points, and winning the Plate in NZ and the Cup in the Chile RWC qualifying tournament.

He was a member of the RWC Sevens squad in Argentina which placed in the top eight, scoring 7 converts.
