Student Debut: Taipei Sevens 1995.
Was
a member of Canada's U-19, U-20 teams, and earned a full XVs cap
in 2000. Mark attended the Commonwealth Centre for Sports Development
(CCSD) in Victoria. Sevens experience includes Taipei 1995, Japan
and Lisbon 1996, Japan 1997,Punta del Este, Hong Kong 1998, and
he was an influential member of the Commonwealth Games squad in
1998, where Canada finished fifth.
In
2000, Mark was the highest try scorer ( 11) at the Rugby World
Cup of Sevens Qualifying tournament for the Americas in Chile
in 2000, where Canada won the Cup.
In
the 1999-2000 World Sevens series where Canada finished 6th, Mark
played in ten tournaments, scoring 19 tries for 95 points.
In
the 2000-2001 series, Mark played in the Durban and Dubai Tournaments
where he scored three tries for 15 points.
