Played
for both Quebec and Newfoundland at the U 19 XVs level but continued
for Quebec to the Senior level. A Canada U 19 choice played three
seasons at University of British Columbia and attended PacificPride.
Began his sevens career at Punta del Este followed by Hong Kong
in 1998. He also won his first senior fifteen cap in June 1998
as a substitute, scoring a try against the USA.
Member
of Commonwealth Games Sevens side which finished 5th. In the 1999-2000
WSS, he played in ten Tournaments, including winning the plate
in NZ, and the Cup[ in the Chile RWC Qualifying Sevens. He scored
7 tries for 35 points, and Canbada finished at 6th.
Nik
was a member of the RWC Sevens squad to Argentina in January 2001.
