Rob toured to Germany with Rugby Canada's 1997 Under 17 squad and was with the Canadian Under 18 squad that met against France in August 1998. He has won four Canada Under 19 International caps for fifteens, and this is his first selection to the sevens squad.

Rob has made 3 appearances for Canada in international sevens Tournaments: Durban, Dubai and NZ. He scored his first try against Zimbabwe in the 2000 Dubai Sevens for 5 points.
