PGSM - Act Thirty
As Usagi rushes to school, just like she did during the final minutes of the last episode, Luna-the-girl gives the recap. An idol named Kuroki Mio has transferred to Usagi's school, Venus had a bad feeling about her.
Mio has told everyone that Usagi hurt her. Usagi denies it, and Naru and Ami back her up.
Mio says that she knows that was an accident, but everyone thinks that Mio is just trying to be nice.
They all know that when the youma turned up, Usagi ran off, leaving Mio alone.
Usagi knows that's partly true, but she can't tell them that she was fighting.
Mio insists that Usagi didn't mean to do anything wrong, but she knows that deep inside, Usagi considers her to be Minako's rival.
Most of the class sides against Usagi. Mio even offers to quit the entertainment world, if that will mean that Usagi will still be her friend.
Motoki has two tickets to a movie "Finding Kame" He's going to invite Makoto out to the movie, and then off to dinner.
When Makoto comes in, he bounces around her, telling her that he has two seats reserved for this movie.
She misses the hint entirely, flashes her pass at him, and heads downstairs
Usagi is trying to put on a brave face. She has Ami, Rei and Makoto who believe in her anyway.
That settled, Luna-the-cat says that it's time for more special training.
Now all four girls are gathered around the pole, trying to catch little bits of paper with their chopsticks.
Kunzite and Jadiete meet up in the first place in the Dark Kingdom that is not a cave - it's a house, with a large staircase.
Kunzite thinks that Jadiete knows something that he's not telling and he tries to bully it out of him.
But Jadiete is still basking in the glow of being the "favorite" so he's not too worried.
Beryl's voice echoes through the room, summoning Kunzite.
She wants to know how long he is going to keep up his act. She knows perfectly well that he has all of his memories intact.
Kunzite tells her that if she knows that, she knows that it hasn't had and effect on him.
Without a word, Beryl holds out the blue flower she had in act 13.
He is not a fan of this.
She calmly tells him that as Metallica gets stronger, she does too.
When she stops blasting him, she tells him that she has given him his free will because he'll be more useful that way, but she wants him to stop interfering with Zoisite.
It seems that by trying to awaken Mamoru, Zoisite is playing right into Beryl's hands.
Meanwhile, it is still raining in London - a thunderstorm this time.
Mamoru is remembering the events of Act twenty four, when Kunzite told him that in the past, Endymion betrayed them, and the Earth was destroyed.
Right on cue, Zoisite appears in the mirror again.
Mamoru wonders if anything in his life was under his control... Most things have been either decided by strangers or by his past life.
The next morning, nearly everyone (Except Naru and Usagi) are giving Usagi the cold shoulder.
During lunch, Usagi eats on the roof with Ami. Makoto and Naru are going to come up as well
Naru is confronting Mio. She says that she doesn't believe Usagi would hurt Mio.
So, Naru insists that Mio tell her the truth.
Mio doesn't answer. Instead, she looks at Naru strangely, and the other girl collapses in pain.
Later, Mio is in a recording studio, recording a song, but when she sees Minako watching her, she asks if she can take a break.
Mio rushes out to tell Minako how honored she is that the great Aino Minako came to watch.
Minako comments how Mio wasn't hurt that badly. She's heard about this because she knows several people at Juuban Middle School.
Then Minako comes to the real question: Just why is Mio going to school there? Where did she used to go to school?
Mio burst into tears. She insists that Minkao didn't mean to be cruel to her. It's the same trick that she played on Usagi.
The next day, everyone is still giving Usagi the cold shoulder.
Mio rushes up and apologizes for making everyone mean to Usagi.
Usagi says that at least her close friends understand her and forgive her.
But Mio has an idea to make it up - she wants to have a private live Aino Minako live concert for their school. She says that she's already asked Minako.
All Usagi has to do is invite people.
Later, Usagi and Mio are hanging a sign in the out door auditorium that they conveniently have for the concert.
Everyone is so excited.
Mio tells Usagi that Mizuno-chan and Kino-san aren't able to make it. Something about them not believing that Usagi could pull of a concert.
Usagi says "How mean" but from her expression, it doesn't look like she really believes Mio.
But it's nearing 6 and Minako isn't there yet.
Then sun sets instantly at 6, and they turn the stage lights on, and the crowd starts cheering.
6:30, and Minako isn't there, so the crowd starts chanting.
Mio borrows Usagi's cell phone, but Minako isn't answering… maybe she only agreed to this to play a trick on Mio.
But Usagi can't believe that Minako lied.
At nearly 7, Minako still isn't there. Mio says that the only thing to do is to apologize to everyone.
But Usagi offers to do it instead.
She makes her way out onto the stage and says that Minako isn't here. They all start yelling at her. They want Minako
Mio starts laughing. Minako's reputation is damaged, and Usagi is losing more and more of her friends. Oh Mio wants to be friends Usagi alright. Mio wants to destroy Usagi.
Just as Usagi is about to start crying, the lights go out and music starts. There is another stage set up, where Minako and her band are all set up.
Minako apologizes for being late, and to make up for it, she's going to put on a killer show. She launches into her song Romance - almost as popular as C'est La Vie
Mio can't figure out how Minako knew about this… After all, she hadn't told her.
Suddenly, Usagi looks up and sees a youma.
She excuses herself from Mio and hurries off.
A few moments later, Sailor Moon confronts the youma. She will not let it ruin the concert.
But this youma throws sharp pointy objects, so Sailor Moon runs away, jumping off a building and ending up in the usual place.
The youma ties her tight in spider webs, when suddenly Sailor Moon's brooch begins to glow.
Her moon wand comes out and cuts her free.
Moon Twilight Flash, sans usual sequence, blows up the youma and Usagi is able to run back to the concert.
She goes up to Minako and asks if she remembers her.
Of course Minako does. She tells Usagi they need to have cake together again some time.
Usagi runs around in circles happily. (Really she does)
While Usagi is running around in circles squealing, Mio asks Minako why she showed up.
Minako says that Mio never invited her. She never expected her to show up.
Usagi has stopped squealing just in time to hear this.
Minako tells Usagi to be careful. She also thinks that the only reason that the other three aren't there is because they weren't told either.
Mio starts crying. She says that she wanted Usagi to be all alone, because she loves Usagi so much.
Minako ask Mio what she really wants, but Mio keeps crying.
Usagi says that she and Mio are friends. Mio doesn't need to worry. She believes that Mio is telling the truth.
Usagi's phone rings and she goes over to answer. It's Makoto. They others are waiting for her. Usagi says good bye to Mio and Minako and runs off.
Minako says that Usagi may be trusting and forgiving, but Minako is not. She tells Mio not to do anything to Usagi again, and she stalks off.
