The Arrival
I arrived at the airport in beautiful Berlin to find Kristin and Peter eagerly awaiting my arrival. We talked for a bit and the proceeded to get something to eat. That is when I was introduced to Döner (Said Dooner). Döner is a type of food that is made from filling a slice of pita bread with vegetables and meat. The one I ate had lettuce, tomato, that purple stuff, and beef shaved from a kebab. I had to hold it with both hands, it was so big. We then drove around town and I began taking pictures. We went to a museum and I was amazed at the artifacts that were displayed. What Americans consider old, Europeans consider new. I was truly amazed. I enjoyed every minute of it.
This is Kristin and her brother Peter.
I just liked how this building looked.
This is me goofing off with Kristin.
This is a statue at the top of an arch. Cool huh?
The buildings are just beautiful.
There is a lot of detail.
There are family crests between the columns.
More crests.
The statues are really neat.
This is a statue of Wilhelm Humbolt.
More architecture.
I'm goofing off but you can't tell.
