Dresden
Dresden was actually a college town from what I understand. This was where Kristin went to college and we only stayed over night. The scenery was gorgeous and the buildings were amazing. There were beautiful carvings on every structure and there was art everywhere I looked. The structures and the city itself gave off a cold warmth as we drove around the busy streets. It was raining that day but it only heightened my awareness of the beauty which surrounded me. Not to mention the company I was with was among the nicest I’ve ever met.
The coal fields near Weißwasser. (I hope I spelled that right.)
Hehehe, I guess I'm not the only goof ball in Germany.
Buildings in Dresden are really neat.
The black bricks are from when they rebuilt it after a fire.
Look what time it is!
I know, I know. I shouldn't take pictures from a moving car.
These buildings rock!
Hey, I caught her complaining. (She'll kick my but when she sees this)
Yeah, yeah. The car thing again.
There is gold on them thar structures.
Look at that.
It is so cool.
This is the history of the kings of Saxony.
Below each king is their name and the time they ruled.
Here is the first.
Hey, you can piece this together too.
The horse that is pawing the air has the greatest king on his back.
I have to tell you that if you do put it together, it will be a long picture.
Come on, it'll be fun.
Not to mention that it'll waist a little time.
What are you waiting for?.
If not for yourself, then for the ones that love you.
it is really neat.
The entire thing is made up of tiles.
Don't worry.
It's almost over.
Come on, last two.
You made it! It wasn't that long now was it?
I like this building.
Here is the top of it.
Look at this, pretty huh?
Yes it was raining, but I liked it.
