Cavalry Trooper, US Army, Circa 1915
Black Jack Pershing lead a group of US Cavalry troopers across New Mexico and
Southern Arizona in pursuit of Pancho Villa. After Pancho Villa botched a raid
on a US Army supply depot, he retreated back into Mexico. A small contingent of
Cavalry troopers followed him to the border. After a week of waiting,
soon-to-be-famous BlackJack Pershing was given orders to assemble a force to
track and bring Villa into custody. Pershing lead troops of the US Army across
the border into Mexico. Although the US had the tacit support of the Mexican
government, Pershing's hunt for Villa nearly caused a war between the two
countries. Pershing was never successful in his quest to capture Villa.
Most of the equipment this trooper carries is identical to that carried 25 years
later by soldiers at the start of WWII. His web belt, .45 cal ACP, even the
Springfield 1903 30-06 rifle stayed as general issue until well into the second
war.

I kitbashed JJ

and backpack, and you have a great bounty hunter, villain, space
warrior, whatever.

Just

The LOTR Gimli
figure on a "movie" set with a civvie. This headsculpt
is one of the coolest from 21C, and can make a great Special Ops
soldier, a biker, a desert Bedouin, or a Russian gangster.
Check out the Fantasy page for similar kitbashes
featuring Gimli, and my Knights and Anti-Paladin.

Lest
we Forget
I kitbashed
this figure to remind myself and others of the real horrors of
life. I try to remember that the Holocaust was not a horror of
WAR, but a horror born of politics, of men. It would have occurred
with or without the war going on around it.
This figure is a reminder that if we do not learn from our past, it
will rise again and force us to deal with it all over.

Bennett's site.

Dog Soldier Viking Raider:
With a little help from my kitbashing. The
chain mail is additional, as is the sword. The white fur trim on
the cloak is also a secondary addition. All else is from the
FINE Dog Soldier Viking Raider figure.:
