Simple celebration of the goodness of God, His promises and joy with quirky memorable rhymes
- God identified Himself to Moses as 'I AM' (see Exodus ch.3) and it was no wonder Moses was awestruck in His presence. let's worship God and address Him directly as 'YOU ARE'. This is an easy-to-learn song for corporate worship and can be sung with upbeat fervour or in a more gentle style.
- God commanded Hosea to take back his adulterous wife Gomer and love her in demonstration of God's love and grace for His nation Israel. Today we can experience the same grace purchased through Jesus' sacrifice. It's an awesome gift of grace to us when we too have adulterated God's ways in our lives.
- Jesus' gentle exhortation to 'visit the prisoners and the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked', reminding us that our 'good works' reflect on Him
- a praise chorus inspired by David's Psalm 56:11-13 celebrating God's faithfulness to me
-
application of Titus
1:3 and
You wept tears for me (You rose again)
- appreciation of what it cost my Lord to save me and a celebration of His resurrection
