Grego was a demon who was searching for another demon, Omicron. He had a small contingent of followers at the time he started his work, which included Nathaniel Hawethorne, Laird Destreat, Mendoza Irat, and Nekboth. Mendoza was actually a spy for her father, Amzon, and Nekboth was an alter ego of Deimos, source of magic and Grego's reason for finding Omicron - Grego believed Omicron could find and defeat Deimos and grant himself ultimate power. Once he summoned Omicron by gathering three special people - the Sage of War Kendaku Li Zero, the Guru of Immortality Clement Hishari, and the Priestess of Dreams Princess Miranda - he abandoned all his allies and began a planetwide destruction derby until Omicron was finally defeated by the Silver Dragon Laura Esmerelda.
Grego, after Omicron's defeat, began searching for Deimos himself and soon found Nekboth to be Deimos. After being defeated by the creature AND the Silver Dragons, Amzon and Mendoza sealed Grego in the Demon Realm. He is supposedly still alive and attempting to find a way out.
