Prudence 'Prue' Halliwell is the eldest daughter of Victor and Patty, and of course a Charmed One. Her role in life was to protect her younger sisters Piper and Phoebe, and when both Patty and Grams died she took on the mother role. When we first meet the girls it is apparent that there is tension between Prue and Phoebe, but this is soon resolved when they receive their powers and begin a fight against evil. |
| Prue had a strong, determined personality, and she seemed fiercely independent at times, but her sisters were always her strength. For years Prue battled with the death of her mother, and had to fight past her fears in order to show those close to her that she loved them. The hardest fight against evil was perhaps defeating the water demon that took her mother's life. |

Although Prue was committed to
fighting for good, it would seem she also had a dark side that longed to be
let out. Her attraction not only to the role of leather clad 'Ms Hellfire',
but also to bad boy Bane Jessup showed us this.
Despite being the eldest, Prue often had a rebellious streak which landed the other sisters in trouble. Most noticeably when Astral Prue ruined Piper's wedding to Leo by leaving on the back of a motorbike. It showed that Prue had a side to herself that longed for freedom. Whatever problems Prue may have caused at times, her place as a Charmed One was something she took seriously. She will always be remembered as the Eldest sister, and part of the Halliwell Legacy.
