First you will fill in a chart
with names of all of the theories about what caused the dinosaurs to become
extinct. For example, some believe that dinosaur extinction came
as a result of a meteorite crashing into earth. You might name this
"The Meteorite Theory."

Next, you will fill in the rest of the chart.
There will be a column named For, and a column named Against. You
will fill in your chart with arguments for and against each view.

Then you will come to a conclusion about what
view seems most likely.

You and your partner will present your view
to the class orally, and you will support it with evidence from your chart.
