Okay this is more a site history
May 2001

• Vendrin and Meeky discussed the possibility of doing a website together.... no idea of what kind... both of us decided that since we are both Final Fantasy VIII fic writers then that was the way to go... but what topic?
• We chose a topic.... a site dedicated to the pairings that were found in fanfics all over the place.
• The title of the site came from a quote that translated to love conquers all.  Seemed appropriate with the theme and everything.
• It was then decided that Vendrin should start looking for fics and Meeky should get started on the web design.
• We then turned to the mother of all Final Fantasy fic writing communities for help.... good old CBB (sister, mother, secret lover) (just kidding) The response was fantastic... offers of fics from loads and the members we contacted were more than happy to have their fics held for ransom...
• We decided on layout and began to start writing out the content...
• And now we are here... innit grand?

On a more serious note Final Fantasy VIII belongs to Squaresoft and it's subsidiaries... we own nothing and our fic writers have never claimed to either....
