I and my friends love to write poems, sometimes we flop, but every once in a while we come up with something spectacular. If you would like me to post your poems here, please email them to me. Now, about this page, the poems are listed in the alphabetical order of their writers. Only one poem is shown to give you a taste of their style, with a link to their other poems beneath the main one.
Severance. . .
An end to all ties. . .
Binding, twisting, constricting ties
Hands, bound; Ankles, shackled; Heart locked.
I ask for freedom and am answered:
"Freedom can be yours but at a price.
The ties that bind your hands shall be loosened,
But your fingers scarred with calloused hardness
That you never touch gently again.
The manacles that arrest your feet shall be unlocked,
But your ankles broken
That you never run to another again.
The chains that hold your heart shall be removed,
But your soul cleft
That only emptiness remains."
Severance. . .
An end to all ties. . .
Binding, twisting, constricting ties.
Hands, bound; ankles, shackled; heart locked.
I ask for freedom and am answered.
And I reply.
"Yes."
I wish that I could count
Heated passion
My heart has found no purchase
Eyes watching
I once had a drippy drip dripdrop.
To be accepted by the 'in' people is not hard
I wish
All the ways that I love you.
I can't do such a thing.
Not because I can not count,
It is not because I don't want to.
It is because I do not know how.
I don't know how to count beyond
Infinity.
Elemental Fire
Burning spirits
Twined together
Locked
Loving
Caressing
Hands griping
Eyes clinched shut
Lips seeking touch
Franticly searching
Whatever suits their fancy
Tears falling
Tears of pleasure
Of pain
And a multitude of other emotions
Wrapped into one blissful moment
Where time has no meaning
Only each other
Their arms
their body
And the union shared
Hot breath
Sweat poring
Exposed
Then sheathed
The scabbard flesh
The sword flame
Burning as such
Felt by both
Scorching heat
Deeper
Hotter
Fervor rising
Twisting sheets
As passions collide
The fires roaring
Burning bright
Together blazing
Bodies moving in harmony
Timed perfection of motion
The dance of flame
The peaking moment
Fevered fitful thrashings
Bodies tense
Passions played
Hot joy springs forth
From throbbing loins
Elemental fire
Into waiting pleasure
Released
Freedom found
~the end~
Untitled 1
In these tidal waves of time
Another night goes by
Regret and sadness
Fills my eyes
I count the seconds of my life
I pass on to another place
Where your cruelty can't touch
This soul that wanders
My anger carries me no longer
If only I could cry
If only I could care
If only I could hate
If only things were different
The pain of this world
Is heavy on my heart
I long to feel something
But I fear I never will
I have nothing in me left
People surround me
Wondering what's wrong
This little girl
Can't cry anymore
Why can't I just be?
If only I could see
If only I had a heart
If only I could feel
If only my life had meaning again
I wait for something
A something that doesn't exist
I sold my soul to emotion
An emotion that has left me
To fall down on these weak knees
The darkness consumes me
I have no guiding light
Nothing to call home
No where to go
No place to call my own
If only I had a love
If only I had a temptation
If only I had a reason
If only time hadn't left me behind
Eyes
our passionate embrace
spurring us on higher in ecstacy’s delight
Eyes watching
jealously as our love takes flight
Eyes watching
somberly as we both make a vow
Eyes watching
happily because they know the
Strength of our love now
Drip
That dropped from the top of a treetop.
How I wish that my drip
Would fall with a flip.
Then my drippy drip dripdrop would stop.
Walls
You just have to play their hand, as their card
Nothing you do
Can make us accept you
We are the outsiders, the 'out' people who are despised
We are not stupid enough to fall for your lies
Those people you want to join, those people who are 'in'
They have cast us out, and abused us as if we were not kin
Once in a while they will pretend to be our friend
But soon the nightmare resumes, and we are unable to attend
The show you put on for us, your facade
Does not penetrate our shield, not even you tirade
Or your worst fit will have us begging to be your pet
We are the ones with no master, none except those we let
May join our ranks, for it is a ware we fight among each other
Just as mother fought against mother
Until we learn to accept nationality, race, and differences
There is no way to take down our fences
There are two sides to every wall, it's true
The question is, which is stronger? Me or you?
