Chocobos and Secret Materia - FFVII
Behold, the ultimate guide to raising Chocobos!
First, get a Great Chocobo and a Good Chocobo (1 male, 1 female) from Mideel and a Carob nut from the monsters around Chocobo Sage's house.
Next, buy 3 stables at Chocobo Ranch and put the two chocobos in.
Then, Mate them with the Carob Nut and you should (hopefully!) get a Blue chocobo or a Green chocobo...
Secret Materia Caves
-X marks the spot!
The colours of the crosses show you which is the lowest chocobo needed.
In the Mideel Materia cave, you can get the materia "Quadra Magic" In the Wutai Cave you get "Mimic" materia, Which is very useful if used directly after a powerful hit, like Knights Of The Round!, Which brings me on to the Cave in the top corner of the map, which you can get the super-powerful summon itself! Finally, the materia cave you enter with a Black Chocobo contains HP-MP (Who'd ever use that?!)
Chocobo Breeding Cont.After that , get a chocobo of the opposite colour+sex. Then train them up with chocobo racing and mate them with another Carob Nut. You should get a Black chocobo. Train that up and mate it with a Wonderful Yellow one (found on the Northern Continent) and use a Zeio Nut (Fly to Goblin Island and beat some Goblins) and... You should get... a Gold chocobo!!!
