Summons and GFs

Below you will find a guide telling you exactly how to get every single Summon (FF7) and every Guardian Force (FF8).

• Shiva FF8-Look at squall's desk panel or meet Quistis outside Garden.
• Quezacotl-As above.
• Ifrit FF8-Defeat him in the Fire Cave practical test with Quistis.
• Siren-Draw this silencer from Evloret in the Dollet Communication Tower (SeeD Exam).
• Brothers- In the tomb of the Unknown King, take every right turn until you end up at the start, and you will have found the important rooms and fought Minotaur, the larger brother, then keep going straight and you will fight both brothers.
• Carbuncle- During the 'Assasinate the Sorceress' mission, you will fight 2 gargoyles. Draw Carbuncle out of either of them.
• Diablos- Use the magical lamp and slaughter the Gravity King himself to get him on your side.You get the lamp from Cid when you become a SeeD member.
• Leviathan FF8- Draw it from Garden Master NORG during disc 2.
• Pandemona- Draw it from Fujin (the battle with Fujin and Raijin in Balamb Hotel.)
• Alexander FF8-Draw it (You may have figured out by now you'll need DRAW for these ...) from Edea at the end of Disc 2
• Bahumat FF8- When you aquire the oh-so-conviniently-placed Ragnarok, you can fly over to the bottom left corner of the world map and land it on the top of the 'Deep Sea Research Centre'. After listening to your teammates' comments on the strange place, go inside and (you probably won't understand this until you get there yourself) move towards Bahumat only when the blue light is off (unless you want to be swamped with enemies) and answer his questions like this: 1- (you can only select one answer!) 2- "Never" (Don't ask) 3- "It's our nature to fight" (It's the 'secret' answer you can't see under the second one) then, beat him up and he's yours!
• EdenAfter beating Bahumat, carry on through the D.S.R.C. and draw it out of the fearsome Ultima Weapon (Remember him? FF7, anyone?) BEWARE- He's alot tougher now!
• DoomtrainCollect the following items: 6 Remedy+, 6 steel pipes, 6 M- Tentacles, and then use the solomon ring (Have a look in Tear's Point- it's UNDER the big fat black thing (Lunatic Pandora)
• FF7 shiva- You recieve it after saving Priscilla at Junon, Disc 1.
• FF7 Ifrit - After beating Jenova- Birth.
• Choco-mog-Talk to the chocobos at the Chocobo ranch , Disc 1.
• Ramuh- Inside Gold Saucer chocobo racing Staffroom.
• Kajata- Visit the sleeping forest and investigate that little red dot creeping around...
• Bahumat- Inside the Temple of the Ancients ( You cant really miss it!)
• Neo Bahumat- Somewhere in the Whirlwind Maze (Disc 2)
• Bahumat ZERO- Equip someone in your party with the previous two bahumats, then study the large blue materia in Bugenhagen's Orery near the end of Disc 2.
• Phoenix- Recieve this after the last battle of Fort Condor!
• Alexander- Touch the hot spring in the Great Glacier, the find the ice witch, fight her, defeat her, and run off with it.
• KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND- Click here and scroll down until you find the info you need.
• Hades- Find this in the bottom of the Crashed Gelnika (In the ocean, Glug glug...)
• Leviathan- Go to Wutai with Yuffie, enter Padoga and beat everyone to recieve this Water God.

FFIX Eidolons

• Shiva- Is within an Opal that Doctor Tot gives you in Treno.
• Ifrit- Doctor Tot also gives you a Topaz. Equip it.
• Ramuh- When you reach pinnacle rocks, finish the story quest and you will recieve a Peridot. Or, you could just defeat one of the many birds you find in and around Fossil Roo.
• Leviathan- On one of your many trips to the Lifa tree, a cut scene will result in your reciept of the Aquamarine.
• Odin- Go to the Treno auction and purchase a Dark Matter. Equip it to Dagger and you're ready to do some damage!
