Great consideration has been made on your part if you have travel
the road thus far in seeking the steps to take admission to the Order of the Rose. We are a
guild of HONOR. If you are interested in joining our family, please take time to read about us on our website.
Part of the requirements for joining is reading through the Ethics,
Ranks, and Trial of Thorns pages.
Communication is highly valued and supported by our fine Message Board.
As soon as a person wishes to seek
membership into OtR, they must make a post on the MB stating their wishes and giving a brief overview of themselves.
You will find a forum called "Joining" to post your intention to join so you will receive more information
and start the joining processes. Also, take a moment to make an introduction of your character in the "General"
forum to receive a warm welcome from our members.
After posting to the message board, the next step is to get to know us and let us get to know you.
When you are sure you want to join, you will be brought before the High Council for an interview. (Interviews are held on Wed evening 6:30PS in the High Council room of OtR.) (If due to a Real Life schedule problem you are unable to be present, let the secretary, or any of the High council know, and arrangements will be made). This is an excelent chance
to ask any remaining questions. After the interview, the HC will convene and discuss your application. Usually you
will be accepted into the guild on the same day as the interview. At this time, you will recive the title "Pledge of
the Rose."
After you recive your title of Pledge you have two weeks to maintain attendance with the Guild. After this second two
week period, you will automaticaly recive the title of White Rose and you will be officaly in the Guild. At this time
you may start preparing for your first Trial of Thorns to advance to Yellow Rose.

Our ICQs are listed on our membership page. Joining a guild is a very personal decision. It needs to fit
and feel comfortable or it is the wrong guild for you. Take time to get to know us as we get to know you also.
We are a close family of members.
TO JOIN OtR, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Be of HONORABLE character, do not have a negative karma title, such as " Rude, Outcast Despicable."
Should your karma ever become negative you must toggle your guild title off until it is positive again.
- You MUST treat everyone you meet with the HONOR, RESPECT and COURTESY they deserve.
- You may NOT COMMIT ANY CRIMES against any persons, in or out of OtR at ANY TIME.
- We prefer that you have the ability and skill to recall.
- We also ask the simple curtesy of not "sparring " with any member WITHOUT permission,
When sparring keep a close watch on your opponent's health bar.
- Always draw the life line instead of directly attacking a monster to prevent accidently attacking others.
- If there is a problem between guildmembers, inform the guildmaster immediately.
Squabbles between members will not be tolerated. Problems will be worked out and solved in an adult maner.
- Read and know the "Rules of the Hunt". A copy of the book is on the table in the main room of the tower.
- When participating in a guild event, hunt or whatever, come prepared. Bring your bandaids, food, weapons,
armour, etc, so the rest don't have to wait for you.
