Pokemon Stadium is an all new concept in N64 Gameing-while it can be played as a stand-alone game, it comes bundled with a transfer pack. The transfer pack allows you to upload your pokemon from your Gameboy to your Pokemon Stadium Cartridge on your N64. Finally all of your hard long hours spent raising(or cheating for that matter!) your POKEMON will finally pay off. Now to get into the more juicy stuff...It's definetely not a problem if you don't have the game voy though. You can rent them right on the Pokemon Stadium Cartridge! You can rent 149 of the 151 Pokemon. !NOTE: Mewtwo and Mew will not be allowed in some cups! You can play games all the way from tournaments to quick pickup games! There are several areas to battle in such as the Stadium, Field, Mewtwo's Island and some Gyms. You can either choose to customise your team or select a prearranged team. In addition to that, nine mini-games, a photo gallery(where you take pictures of your Pokemon), a place to play your pokemon Game boy Game, and a place to battle the formidable Mewtwo, all await you in Pokemon Stadium. First I will talk about the gym leaders.
Gym Leader Castle
Battles in the Gym Leader Castle, the Stadium and the free battle arenas are played with your own POKEMON, the rental Pokemon, or a combination of both. If you've played Pokemon Red, Blue, or Yellow, you know that you must challenge 8 Gym Leaders To win Badges on your way to becoming a pokemon master. If you want to master all of Pokemon Stadium, at some point you'll have to storm th Gym Leaders Castle. In each Gym, you will have to defeat three Trainers before battling the actual Gym Leader! They will have Pokemon that are all at level 100! Usually 2-3 Pokemon at max. Another thing is if even ONE of those trainers defeats you, you will have to start ALL OVER AGAIN! And. Unfortunately, NO ITEMS are allowed(bummer). Little is known about the Gym Leaders Pokemon but I've got the scoop!
