The BERRIES it stores in its vase-like shell decompose and become a gooey liquid. It stores BERRIES inside its shell. To avoid attacks, it hides beneath rocks and remains completely still.

What is it!?
Shuckle is one of the most interesting Pokemon in the game. First of all, it has the highest defense in the Pokemon World. Shuckle exceeds even that of Cloyster. In fact, at level 100, it can have up to 558 defense status (without cheating devices). Here's the catch, though. In exchange for its super high Special and Physical defense, Shuckle has extremely low stats in every other catergory. In fact, its attack will rarely ever be higher than 118 once you level it up to it's max. This Pokemon has another very mindboggling power. If you attatch a berry to it, that berry will become the item "berry juice" in battle. Remember what it says in the Pokedex entry further up on this page?
Stradegy
Here is how I use my Shuckle in battle. First of all, I don't worry about how strong the opponents attacks are. This is because Shuckle can withstand practically any attack due to its ultra defense and special defenst stats. However, its attacks themself will not do much because of Shuckle's low attack and special attack. To solve this, I use Sandstorm. Sandstorm will take the same amount of damage away each turn. It will slowly faint the foe, while I increase my defense with withdraw. Get the point? NOTE: You could also use toxic.
