Tullibody is a large village in the County of Clackmannanshire in Central Scotland. In the 9th century, King Kenneth MacAlpin is said to have given Tullibody its name. In the 12th century,Tullibody had a church and a parish priest. In the 16th century a French Army used the roof from Tullibody's Church to make a bridge over the nearby River Devon. Now, in the 21st century, Tullibody has about 8,500 inhabitants. The Village has a Pub (The Inn), a Hotel (The Abercromby Arms), a Golf Course (Braehead), a Post Office, a Civic Centre, four Primary Schools, a Church, a Church Hall, a Chapel, a Police Station, a small Shopping Centre (Tron Court) and an Industrial Site (Dumyat Business Park) .
