Born to
Padmé Naberrie and Anakin Skywalker, Leia grew up thinking her true
origins were based on Alderaan and that her father was
Senator Bail Organa. Over the years she developed an
interest in politics but began to realise they was
something wrong in the relationship with her 'father'. When she was captured by Darth Vader on a mission to retrieve the plans to the Imperial battle station, the Death Star. She was rescued by Luke Skywalker who she didn't realise was her brother until a year after his death while fighting Darth Vader on Cloud City. After she rescued Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt with the help of 'Boba Fett' she went to Endor to stop the Empire making use of the second Death Star where Fett revealed his true identity - Anakin Skywalker, her father. Soon after she went to face Vader and the Emperor on the battle station where she used the skills she had developed to avoid the Dark Side before Adi Gallia defeated the two Sith. After taking the advice of her brother, Luke, who was now her spirit guide she went to Tatooine to construct her own lightsaber and met Ambassador Keylar of the Mandalore. Together they decided it was time to put the conflicts of the past behind them and usher in a new future. While on the Mandalore planet of Yarori she encountered Mara Jade who was determined to kill her for her part in Emperor Palpatine's "murder". Mara faked Leia's death in front of Thrawn so that she could deal with the princess in her own time but left both women with strong feelings for each other. A year later the Republic planned an attack on Coruscant to retake the capital planet along with her father, Keylar and Lando and Narril Calrissian. |
