Heloise Quince has something very special in common with her Daddy, they both share the same date for their birthdays, 15 March. Kieron calls Heloise his very special birthday girl.

Heloise turned 1 on the 15th March 2003. We wanted to stay in keeping with a plan to do something brand new on her birthday so we travelled by train to one of Sydney's beautiful beaches, Cronulla Beach. Together with friends, we relaxed on the beach as we shared about Heloise's birth/death, looked at her photos and wondered how she might look today as a 1 year old celebrating her birthday.

We brought along a fruit flan, and with the help of our friends and their children, we lit sparklers to celebrate Heloise. It is wonderful to be able to share her day with people who 'get it'.
