Once again, congrats go out to our Showbiz Kids for a great weekend at competitions!
At ADA, "One Voice" won High Score Group 12 & under Secondary division, placed 2nd in the Dance Off, and received two Special Awards for "Great Entertainment Quality" and "Age Appropriateness". Also, Lisa Rohlfing won 1st place 12 & under Diamond Choreographer Award for "One Voice".
"All I Need Is The Girl" won the Special Award for "Surprise Ending" and "Baby That's Rock N Roll" won the Special Award for "Most Entertaining".
Brandon Funk and Cortney Funk won High Score Duet/Trio 12 & under Secondary division and a Special Award for "Teamwork".
Sara Orchard won High Score Solo Secondary division age 11. Cortney Funk won High Score Solo Secondary division age 10. Alisha Woodall won a Special Award for "Great Use of Isolations". Alyssa Castillo won High Score Solo Primary Division 12 & under and a Special Award for "Future Star".
At Dance Rave, "One Voice" placed 3rd Overall 12 & under Lines. "Doo Wah Ditty" placed 3rd Overall 12 & under Small Group and received a Special Award for "Most Entertaining". "Inside of Me" placed 4th Overall 12 & under Small Group. "That's Okay" placed 5th Overall 12 & under Small Group.
Brandon Funk and Alyssa Castillo placed 4th Overall 12 & under Duet/Trio.
Jennifer Clark placed 8th Overall 12 & under Solo. Cortney Funk placed 9th Overall 12 & under Solo. Alyssa Castillo placed 5th Overall 12 & under Solo. Brittany Cosby received a Special Award for "Cutie Putootie".
We are so proud of all of the effort and energy and dedication the Showbiz Kids put into their performances. Way to go!

"I've Got Rhythm" won 2nd Overall 12 & under Large Group division. "Outta Control" received a Platinum and 2nd Overall 12 & under Small Group division. "That's Okay" won 5th Overall 12 & under Small Group division. "Us Bums" received 3rd Overall 8 & under Small Group division.
In the Duet/Trio category, Kristen Moore and Sara Orchard received a Platinum and 3rd Overall 12 & under. Brandon Funk and Cortney Funk received a Platinum and 5th Overall 12 & under. Cassie Freeman, Megan Wartell, and Haley Williams received 4th Overall 8 & under.
In the Solo category, Sara Orchard received two Platinum awards and 2nd Overall 12 & under, along with an invitation to dance in the opening number at Nationals! Alyssa Castillo received a Platinum and 1st Overall 8 & under. Brittany Cosby won 9th Overall 8 & under and Nia Byrd won 10th Overall 8 & under.
Again, all of our dancers worked hard and we're proud of each of them!

CONGRATULATIONS to all of our Showbiz Kids who performed at Star Systems on February 17th. High Golds and Golds were won by all our dancers.
Sara Orchard received 1st Overall Junior Solo. Cortney Funk received 2nd Overall Junior Solo. Zachary Clark won Junior Mr. Superstar. In the Mini Solo Division Overall, Alyssa Castillo received 1st place, Sieandra Thomas 2nd place, Nia Byrd 3rd place, and Brittany Cosby 4th place. We placed 2nd and 5th Overall in the Mini/Junior Duet/Trio Division; 4th Overall in Junior Small Groups; and 1st and 4th Overall in Junior Large Groups. In addition, Tinsley Toole received Platinum and High Gold in Junior Modeling and Angela Snyder received High Gold in Senior Modeling and Alisha Woodall won Junior Photogenic.
Everyone worked hard and had fun. Good job!
