When I first downloaded this rom I expected another third person, sprite-based 3d racer. But I was pleasantly suprised to find that Super Off Road was a snes port of the arcade classic. In this racer you get to control a tiny pick-up truck with Rock n Roll Racing type controls from a stable camera view. This is a fun game.

Graphics: (6/10) Super Off Road has nice looking graphics. The trucks are rather small on the screen and sometimes it's hard to judge the obstacles on the course. But the graphics are all done in a style that looks simple and eye-pleasing. Nice!

Sound: (4/10) This game has loud music. But things are kept lively and upbeat. Nothing spectacular but I really didn't expect much. Just decent.

Fun: (7/10) Good Racing! Plain and simple. Driving your tiny pick-up round and round the track is actually quite fun. You improve your vehicle as you gain more money from each race. You can buy nitro boosters which are a blast. And some of the tracks intersect themselves and causing random collision. Fun stuff!.

Creativity: (4/10) Well it is an arcade port.... so there probably wasn't any major thinking that went into this one. But the original design is maintained and it provides soem good gameplay.

Multi-Player: Yessir. 2 player gameplay is supported and is a lot of fun. Hooray!

Tips and Cheats: No real cheats for this game. But if you play 2 player and only race the red truck. You can never get 4th place, and thus never loser. Kinda cheap.

Errors: All good. you may want to use Snes9x to make sure the loud music comes through correctly. That's all.
