Blue Hellfire Club's Story Role-Play *HF RP*

Rules/ How To Play

1) The purpose of this project is to bring the BLHC members closer together in a good working environment and help us develop our characters and work with one another, hopefully building bridges and links with one another.
2) The whole purpose of this is for fun. But because things can sometimes get a little complicated and people may get upset, two moderators will be elected, the Head Moderator and the Deputy Moderator. The Blue King, Steven Booth, will be the Head Moderator and Blackfire; the Blue Enforcer will be the Deputy Moderator. If a problem occurs one can contact both of them at any time.
3) The role play/ story will take place on a separate message board to the main one. This is to avoid any confusion and also give us a place where only stories can be posted. That is the first rule. Only parts of the stories can be posted on the Board, no comments. If you wish to make comments either e-mail the member or use the main Board.
4) Flaming is totally banned. If you flame another member, then you shall receive a warning. If you do it again, you shall receive another warning and a suspension from writing stories for three weeks. If you do it again, then the Inner Circle will review your place in the BLHC.
5) Although these stories may include members of the Hellfire Courts, they are NOT *HF*. This avoids anyone getting upset about errors or continuity problems. But it would be greatly appreciated if one would keep as close to the *HF* guidelines as possible.
6) We shall begin the role-play when the King posts the first part of a mini story. He will write down his part and then leave it open for other people to carry on. But sometimes, there are things in a story that may be important later and if not written correctly, can spoil the whole saga. So, at the end of the story you can post 'advisories' meaning you can put down certain feelings, events, thoughts etc. the next writer may want to include in their story. If these are ignored, then that is considered a flame.
7) You can have several short stories going on at the same time, but if a story isn't added to in a week, then it is deleted.
8) You must post your response to the story UNDERNEATH the original post and underneath any other contributions so it is easier to find the pieces of text that link together.
9) If you want to write a short story but you don't want anyone else to add to it, put *N/A* (No ADD) in the subject line. If you forget to do this and someone carries on your story, then the *N/A* rule doesn't work and the story is open for contributions.
10) You must respect the characters you are writing about if they do not belong to you. You cannot have them do drastic things that are out of character ie: Epyon flirting with Storm or RKB cussing. That is considered a flame. The story is also deleted.
11) Unlike normal stories, the layout of the role-play is different. Descriptions are written as normal but if a character speaks you must write it like this:
RKB: Hey Rage, what are you doing today?
The young woman was silent for a moment, her steely grey eyes searching around the room, tracking an unseen target.
Rage: Not much Steven. But I do have this terrible feeling something bad is going to happen.
The old man gasped.
RKB: Really?
12) If you wish to post an alternative story, perhaps set in the future or past or something that goes beyond the *HF* boundaries put *AHF* in the title. Also, if you are doing one of these stories, you may want to put up a roster of people you are using and their rank to assist other writers.
13) If you want to post a story that is a joke or something a little more light hearted put *JHF* in the title. This means it isn't regarded as normal role-play story material.
14) Even though this role-play is for the BLHC members, members of any other Courts may also write and also people who aren't on a Court are welcome.
15) Impersonating members is considered a triple flame and will result in suspension from the BLHC either on a temporary or permanent basis.
16) Once a story is reaching its end and you wish for it to be finished, alert the writers of the story on the normal message board and then decide who is going to finish it. Once if has been finished and everyone is in agreement it will be sent to the library for storage and recreational use.

The whole objective of this project is to have fun and enjoy ourselves whilst building relationships and hopefully friendships with eachother. So, without further a due, we hereby declare the Blue Hellfire Club's *HF RP* officially open and ready for business. Click here to proceed to the forum.

-Steven Booth,
Blue King.
