The Leap of Life by Miranda Marshall
I watch my husband sleep And think of things so deep Like how we create our own reality Even when it comes to our fatality The loss of a friend has caused me to weep But has also made me want to leap For this friend shared so much joy And his death has shown us life is no toy Leap into life and take no advantage This life is fragile So we must walk the great mile Love til the end Regardless of what is around the bend Share what is in your soul As if it were cherries in a bowl Life really can be sweet More so than any candy we'll ever eat I watch my husband asleep in bed And my thoughts have turned to the greatness that lies ahead
