So whose got the best crop of returning series? Well, the WB leads the category for the second straight year, but it was down over last season, meaning its returning series are performing worse than they did then. Ditto for NBC, ABC & Fox. The only networks up were CBS & the UPN, both owned by Viacom. This category is where you can really see the audience erosion. The WB is mainly up here because it moved hit shows to suffering timeslots (like Smallville & Reba). The UPN is still below 300 points, but it's points total has increased 6.9%, meaning that its returning shows are still losing viewers, just not as many.
